Overview

Flopsy is a Shopify app for bulk price updates, price history, price guard workflows, and pricing notifications. This policy explains the information Flopsy uses to run those workflows.

Information we collect

When a merchant installs or opens Flopsy through Shopify, we collect and store information needed to connect and operate the app:

• Shopify store identity, such as shop domain, store name, installation status, and app authorization details.
• An encrypted Shopify access token so Flopsy can use the Shopify API for the connected store.
• Product and variant information needed for pricing work, including product IDs, variant IDs, titles, SKUs, images, status, vendor, collections, and price data.
• Pricing operation data, including update jobs, previews, applied changes, revert records, price history baselines, and price history events.
• Price guard settings and outcomes, including gold and silver guard configuration, checks, and related pricing actions.
• Notification settings and delivery records needed to send scheduled or event-based alerts.
• If Telegram is connected from inside Shopify, Telegram account or chat identifiers needed to link the channel and deliver messages.
• Basic technical records such as request metadata, errors, and security logs.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate the store, show products, preview and apply merchant-approved price updates, keep price history, run price guard workflows, send notifications, provide support, protect the service, and meet legal or platform obligations.

Third-party services

Flopsy uses the Shopify API for store, product, and pricing operations. If a merchant connects Telegram, Flopsy uses the Telegram Bot API to deliver linked alerts and messages. We do not sell merchant data.

Data retention

We keep store and workflow data while the store remains connected to Flopsy. After uninstall or disconnection, we may retain limited records for support, security, audit, legal, and platform compliance needs.

Merchant control

Store owners can uninstall or disconnect Flopsy through Shopify. Telegram can be linked or unlinked from the embedded Flopsy app after Shopify installation.
